27th December 1980 that was. Not sure what the crowd was when we beat them 3-2 a few years later? I recall missing the first 2 goals because of the queues. The only other decent crowd I can recall was the game just after Christmas in 82 against Newport, wasn't 20,000 though. Not sure what the crowds were against Sunderland in 1980 and Sheff Wed in 84, obviously neither had anything to do with the home fans turning out in force
