Coleman needs to get him on the pitch before he changes his mind!
I see a premier league future for the kid

Big time. Give him 2 minutes next month. Job done.

That Brookes lad looks like a real prospect. Another Welsh English young man?

Similar to the Woodburn situation and the same as Ampadu, I would like to see this lad get a full cap sooner rather than later. Will be a good test for him today to see how he copes with a game of this magnitude.
You have to secure his services. Looked fantastic today.

Re: Sheffield 'steel city' derby
Wow, what a performance and individual display by brooks in only his second ever start. Coelman has to find a place on the bench for Brooks in Georgia. After that performance and the Woodburn situation still causing grief, I expect the english FA to be doing their upmost to convince Brooks to join forces with them rather than us.

He's played at a younger Welsh age group (u19) before those English caps. All those English caps are 5 Toulon tournament games which they played the maximum amount of games as they won it. Brooks was player of the tournament.
Great game this derby. Real quality on both sides. Glad we've played these two and taken points off them.

Re: Sheffield 'steel city' derby
Very good game, Brooks was excellent and thoroughly deserved the man of the match award

Agreed.

Re: Sheffield 'steel city' derby
I treated myself to a month's Now TV pass a fortnight ago, so I'm watching live games again for a while and the Sheffield Derby was, by some distance, the best match I've seen so far.
As for Brooks, I'd forget about giving him a couple of minutes at the end of one of the upcoming games to confirm his affiliation to Wales - playing like that, I'd seriously think about starting with him in the team if he really is willing to commit to us.

Re: Sheffield 'steel city' derby
I was impressed by Utd when they came to us and thought at the time they will win more than they lose this year. Great spirit, some nice football, all together and bright. Brought a great following and didn't bitch too much about losing as far my limited knowledge of message boards go. Good to see a top old club doing well again.

Re: Sheffield 'steel city' derby
1 side note of the Brooks performance was it appears the Blades fans have already appeared to come up with an original song for him. To the tune of: Love, love will tear us apart again. Brooks, Brooks will tear you apart again. We don't appear to be able to come up with anything original ourselves but we could adopt this for Lang, Lang will tear you apart again.
