Me too.
I've recorded it so I can fast forward

Re: World snooker championships thread
Selby really not my cup of tea but I can't help but admire the guy. Very difficult to beat and puts up a great fight when the opponent is throwing everything at him.

Re: World snooker championships thread
Higgins has had the longest life strangled out of him.
He can't even get back to the baulk. He's had it.

Re: World snooker championships thread
Thought I'd take a look on the net and see how Rocket Ron was getting on, not having watched any of it since briefly last week.
Anyway it seems he may have been bored into submission (is there a penalty for slow play?).
Anyway I had to laugh at the way he seemingly deliberately played for the pink having taken 14 blacks for his 146, obviously showing disdain at the 'miserly' 10K offered for a max.

Proper rock 'n' roll Ronnie

I'm a big Ronnie fan but in fairness Ding beat him up in the middle session nothing to do with boring him.

Re: World snooker championships thread
Ain't happening for Higgins today

Re: World snooker championships thread
It looks almost over about 5 minutes ago.
With regards to an earlier point about players worth watching, Bingham(?) said something along the lines of some players want to express themselves more but the way the game is run these days doesn't allow for it. BBC pundits (including Steve Davis) were on about the tournament being bigger and better before but surely they can see that restricting players from showing their personalities turns more people off than on?

Re: World snooker championships thread
Higgins needs to come out as the old Higgins to turn this around. Selby definitely going to get a frame so John needs to win the next four to stay in it and make it 17-16
Anyone's from there on.

He's taken just 2 of the last 14 frames.

Re: World snooker championships thread
Get in there John, 16-14, proper grafting for these frames.

Re: World snooker championships thread
Anyone who watched the semi's feel Selby was incredibly disrespectful towards Ding celebrating 3 times in as many consecutive shots?
-
Re: World snooker championships thread
i dislike the way snooker is becoming like darts. these "ton up" signs that the crowd hold up. it is common as muck. i am not anti-gay but faggots should not be allowed to watch snooker.

Missed that. I tend to switch over if I think he's got a frame in the bag as he annoys me :hehe:

Pumped his fist, then screamed come on, then smacked the table. If I was Ding I would have ****ing smashed his head with my cue.

Tosser. Really felt it was going to be Dings year this year

Re: World snooker championships thread
Didn't look like it hit there, but cracking bit of sportsmanship

Re: World snooker championships thread
That Selby miss could be crucial. If Higgins claws this back to 16/15 he will have the momentum. Odd final. Both players very scratchy at times.

Re: World snooker championships thread
Might be just me but this tournament I feel Selby has got so much luck in the balls, albeit he has taken that luck and put in some cracking performances, but he gets some incredible flicks and kisses that other players never seem to get
