It might get the man at the tops attention and try a different approach, having a football man directing the club would be a start.

Some clubs have come back stronger, most seem to struggle on down there for longer.
So I suppose you would prefer to be bob bob bobbing along near the trap door season after season.

We are talking relegation and the collapse of Cardiff City that the last 20 years of so hasn't been all roses but has seen a lot of good times ......relatively speaking
You simply have to beat sides around you and put back to back wins together to get out of relegation battles .......I am sorry but I am convinced our time is up and we are going down ......a poor squad , a manager with no experience at all and a club owner and staff who simply are sitting by whilst Rome burns
Relegation will be a disaster for us but unless things change big time we are running , not walking , towards it
What the hell is going on ?
For gods sake give it a rest.

I'm more concerned about the poor quality of officiating that has cost us AGAIN, rather than the performance.
The clowns running the show are another matter altogether...
Let's not berate Hudson and the lads though, whilst it was far from perfect, it could, and should, have been 3 points in all fairness.
Exactly
I've seen loads of stuff on Twitter about our "poor performance", what game were they watching? Hudson's a scapegoat for a lot of our fans on there because they're upset Morison was sacked, but there's not much more he could have done yesterday

It went wrong when we allowed him to waste our parachute money (and PL money) on rubbish. You know this.
Re: Going Down ......On And Off The Pitch
You don't think there was anything else Hudson could have done formation or sub wise to change the game after 55-60 minutes?
Yes, we played a great first half and but for a shit ref we'd have still won, but his persistence forcing players out of position in the one formation he knows doesn't fill me with any confidence in him at all.

What are you seeing then? A team that’s going to battle for the playoffs?

Didn’t Tan recently say he’d like one more crack at the PL? He’s a funny man isn’t he…..

There’s only one type of “crack” and that’s the one he’s smoking
Re: Going Down ......On And Off The Pitch
We played well yesterday but we’ve played well quite a few times and not won. It’s frustrating but we aren’t clinical enough.
I’d like to see us get Colwill in the side and Philogene on the other wing. We have to play Robinson and Etete up top. I think we will get out of this but Hudson has done ok.
Instead of having 27/28 players, we should have a squad of 22 and spent that money on better players and a manager. Saving money on 6 players gives you £3m at £10k a week. It isn’t small change, that’s huge. We’ve got so many players that aren’t even getting a look in

I'd say City played reasonably well for an hour or so, but were poor after Blackpool equalised. Madine equalised on 67 minutes. There was still around half an hour left including the stoppage time, but heads dropped and the quality of City's play also dipped considerably from that point onwards.
This is a team with soft underbelly. A haul of just four points from the last six home games is a concern, especially considering four of those games were against teams in the bottom half of the table.

A tough run of games now too.
Re: Going Down ......On And Off The Pitch
I am all for optimism
It's only the last 2 months that I have worried that this side is looking like relegation certainties
We have two wins out of nine . That's relegation form .
What's every other team in the bottom six doing?
That win at Sunderland was fantastic but seems light years away to me

Agreed. I hope Sean Morrison can get fit, and partner Kipre. I'm not having Ng as a centre back.

Morrison is advancing in years and is fighting to get back from injury
If we had a veteran centre back who we could depend on then fair enough
But we got rid of our physical players
Which clearly was the wrong decision

What physical players did we get rid of that flirted with relegation last year

We got rid of pack and Flint
Either of those could have done a job

I've said it before and I will say it again....we lack leaders on the pitch. The likes of Sean Morrison in his prime, Sol Bamba, Craig Bellamy, Mark Hudson. Even Flint.
Any one of those players would have got us over the line today and several other games this season.
Hudson maybe a good coach, was a leader on the pitch but he does not seem to be a leader off it.

Well we seem to be improving our patterns of play under Hudson
But we are not stacking up the points
He's going to have to convert draws into wins pronto
Re: Going Down ......On And Off The Pitch
Hudson's recent record is as bad as Morison's, worse than McCarthy's, and worse than Harris. We have twice messed up by appointing someone who is not experienced enough at this level. You'd think they'd have learnt their lesson with Morison, but they went and made the same mistake all over again with Hudson. And then extended his contract.
We need to bring someone in NOW who can help and advise a very inexperienced manager. There are plenty of guns for hire out there - Lennie Lawrence, even Neil Warnock, just to name two - but it needs to be someone who can get the team playing effective football. We do have the basis of a decent side on paper, but once on the pitch they look clueless, and that's down to the management. Get some help in, and now, before it's too late.

Maybe with some help Hudson can steer us to safety
I think we have cut off our nose to spite our face too many times
