Re: WALES v TURKEY. Match thread
VAR should be like cricket - each time could get 2 referrals each half.

Re: WALES v TURKEY. Match thread
People say that it is a level playing field with decisions evening themselves out!
I wonder if their thoughts are the same regarding this first half.

The tackle on Johnson in the penalty box saw the Turkish Player make contact with Johnson before he played the ball, in fact, i don't think he even touched the ball. Nailed on penalty.

Agree, he made no attempt to play the ball . The first one wasn’t a pen, the 2nd debatable but that one looked a clear penalty

Re: WALES v TURKEY. Match thread
It’s good to see VAR isn’t being used to re-referee the game. None of the decisions were clearly and obviously wrong, Johnson’s was debatable at best.

I must be watching a different game to the one you're watching.

Re: WALES v TURKEY. Match thread
Obscure fact of the evening:
Jordan James’ father Tony played for Burton at the CCS 13 years, 13 weeks and 11 days ago in a League Cup tie vs Cardiff.
I was there and although I don’t remember how well Tony played, Burton were very good and took the Bluebirds to extra time, eventually losing 4-1.
His son is playing a blinder IMHO

Absolutley corrupt, the ref is a cheat rather than inept.
