I'm not having a go at Warnock just for the sake of it I think you can still be critical even knowing he's done a fantastic job but surely you can see NML didn't need to start today and is in need of a rest

I'm not disagreeing with you. Just stating what he was likely to be thinking.
NML looks short of confidence and has only recently come back from a fairly long spell of being injured.
Maybe Warnock thought it would help his confidence to skin a lower division full back ?

Hard to judge unless you can see the whole picture.
The one that really needed a rest was Hoillet, so glad to see him on the bench. He's had a massive workload
Same for Ralls.
