Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
What the feck is Phillips doing?
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
Gave Mick a contract. He just won Manager of the Month.
It was obvious that free kick was going in. :hehe:

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
You've not won the World Cup lads

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
Straight through the keeper, wtf?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
Manager of the month curse? Playoffs look a challenge now, but at least it keeps Swansea out of the top two
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 2 WATFORD. Match thread
Takes Watford up to 2nd in place of the jacks...lol
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
Season over, especially with Barnsley looking unstoppable, ah well can't argue. No relegation which I honestly believe we were sleep walking towards at one point

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 2 WATFORD. Match thread
That wall was inviting the shot! It was obviously going in.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 2 WATFORD. Match thread
Not sure it makes much difference with Barnsley winning again.

Only one player at fault and he wasn't in the wall.
In fact the keeper builds the fecker

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread
A point would have been fantastic but now we really need to win our next two to be looking at the play-offs in any serious way. Don't think Watford deserved to win so even more gutting we conceded so poorly so late on.
By the way, it's Reading we're chasing now rather than Barnsley.

Weird one, wasn't it? It looked like Phillips wasn't expecting that kind of shot, wall didn't have enough men in it, or he just hadn't st himself up for it. NG was piss poor in giving away the foul.

True, but he's been pretty much faultless since he came into the side.

We fought and scrapped and played our usual underdog football, but the better side won for me even if the circumstances were so hard to take. We were better than we were against Middlesbrough and Huddersfield, but we need to score at least three to win at home this season and that was never going to happen.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WATFORD. Match thread

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 2 WATFORD. Match thread
Any one else think Ojo was a wasted sub? He's really not up to the form he had at the start of the season.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 2 WATFORD. Match thread
We're really missing Joe Bennett.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 2 WATFORD. Match thread
Mick's tactic of shutting up shop with 20 to go was always going to catch up with us

Not just Ojo (who hasn't looked the same player since recovering from injury), Bacuna did nothing as well whereas I thought Sang did quite well.

Wasn't much good when he came on, but got to say I prefer him to Wilson - who did nothing for 75 minutes..

It was inviting the shot but he had to go to the left hand side of the wall and unless it was into the top corner was likely to be so close to the keeper he could save it.In fact it was straight at the keeper if he just stood still he would have saved it instead he chose to dive forward throwing out his arms like he was doing a ballet dance and flapping helplessly at it. It was a rubbish free kick and and an even more rubbish bit of keeping. Has played well enough in the other games to retain his place but any more mistakes like tha and we have a very good other keeper.

Bacuna and Ojo were mostly chasing lost causes because Moore was knackered.
