He's taken Tanner off because he blames him for the goal crap management should have replaced Adams

Are you sat on the bench to know that?

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This is fast turning into another Ipswich, some very strange tactical decisions. You understand if he’s trying to make it a learning moment for Tanner if he switched off on the goal, but equally we are a goal down and Tanner has been the only one doing anything going forward.
And Adams still being on the pitch, you genuinely wonder what he’s seeing. Especially with multiple changes he could make to have players with actual full back experience there.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Why are we playing a midfielder at right back when we have a right back on the bench?
It surely can’t have escaped Bulut’s attention that EVERY Boro attack (and their goal) is coming down their left / our right??!

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Colwill and Robinson on the pitch at the same time with 20 minutes to go :yikes:

Or maybe players are tired/ carrying injuries after a run of games?

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
How much of a run of games have Romeo and Panzo had then?

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Has Grant beaten the fullback once?
-
Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Ugbo under the long ball is pointless.
-
Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Grant and Etete went from a couple of great games to absolute stinkers tonight.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That could have been a red with the studs at that height on NG

Looks like this one just isn’t meant to be….odd line up, injuries, and strange subs….ah well….

Madley is such a nob how was that their throw?

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We look utterly toothless.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Always going to be a tough ask with only one day to recover after Saturday and then travelling yesterday. EFL as ever doing clubs and fans no favours.

Unfair on Etete. No service whatsoever.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Terrible game, we didn’t turn up.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Very sloppy that, Romeo has to stay on his feet once he gets there
-
Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
This has gone from disappointing to embarrassing.

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Romeo sold himself there …sliding in instead of standing up

Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Just not happening tonight, was always going to be a tough ask with injuries and fixtures piling up.
-
Re: MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
It’s been very poor this half but it’s fine margins. Tanner’s effort goes in off the post and we then sit back and win it 1-0. Instead it’s a comfortable defeat. Shows the importance with the way we set up of getting the first goal

Maybe, but he's looked good in the target man role the last two games, and in that role you will have those games like tonight away from home where you have to be the outlet and hold the ball up to give your team a chance to get up the pitch, and his touch and passing was very poor IMO.
