Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Better this half. Notice etheridge releasing it quick. He never would with Warnock, allowing them to get into space.
get in Tomlin
He football is miles better than Warnockball

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Charlton sponsors can’t be happy ....their logo is barely visible on their shirts

It assumed hey didn’t have one. On closer inspection it appraised to be “Chikdren with cancer UK” in thin black text.

Ref giving a yellow to anyone that speaks.

They donate the proceeds to the charity. Nice touch

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
would prefer Morrison to Flint....

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bogle...almost......doing better than Madine. GREAT block from Peltier...

Excellent game to be fair. Both sides going for the win.
Important we get something tho for morale.

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
So this is what football is supposed to feel like. I remember this.

Re: CHARLTON ATHLETIC v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I just saw a player chest it down and take control of the ball on the deck. SHOCK and AWE!

Re: FT: CHARLTON ATHLETIC 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Pretty good - Didn't cringe once watching this - we looked like 'normal' football team for once.

Re: FT: CHARLTON ATHLETIC 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Should have won that, but a good game and a decent start for Harris. Plenty to smile about

Absolutely agree.....great to see......good half time.....Gallagher and Mathews not so effective seond half. Bodes well for the future....however your views it was SO much better than Warnock recent games.

Re: FT: CHARLTON 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Enjoyed that. Entertaining game with some encouraging and some alarming moments.

End to end. A good game to watch. Felt we could have nicked that.

Re: FT: CHARLTON ATHLETIC 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Only 23 shots though, 12 short :hehe:
All in All, very encouraging and Harris will be pleased no doubt.
Good point City but more importantly, good performance.

Re: FT: CHARLTON 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Didn't lose away from home and the players' heads didn't drop after being sucker punched just before the break. Makes you wonder what Harris said at half-time.
Considering how woeful our away form has been this season, I'll take this.

Re: FT: CHARLTON 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
On my way back from the match, probably the most enjoyable game performance wise in a long time.
I think we’d look better with a more mobile striker. Bogle was better than Madine for me but both lack quality.

Re: FT: CHARLTON 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I know it's only one game but that should put to bed any idea that Harris is Warnock 2.0.

Re: FT: CHARLTON 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Haven't read the whole thread but wasn't impressed with Mr. Bond.
Generous penalty award and I thought our first was offside, of course we might have had a penalty first-half.
Still think we were short-handed in mid-field.

He made a couple of proactive substitutions as well, instead of waiting until 10 minutes to go.

We usually are when Joe Ralls doesn't play.

Re: FT: CHARLTON 2 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bennett rightly gets a lot of stick but was crucial in setting up both goals today
