Wouldn't bank on it myself, but no need to be so sureof it. Wasn't it 14 points not too long ago?

stats guys seem to be advocating long throws, almost everywhere on the pitch.
Not only does it sometimes lead to a chance for the team making the long throw, but it less often results in a shot against.
Not sure why that would be, but it does.

Not much!
Looking at the side before kick off it looked as if we'd be lucky to scramble a draw and with Morrison going off (huge blow) most have probably settled for the point there and then.
Amazing gutsy performance on a tough Wednesday night.
So pleased for the travelling fans too!

9 points off wolves? Gotta play them at home? This is their blip. They're catchable

Re: FT: IPSWICH TOWN 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That is a huge result, partic when so many around us are slipping.
Big crowd Sunday now surely....

If Wolves lose to Fulham and we beat Bristol the gap will be just 6 points with them still having to come to us.

OMG the next couple of months could be the most exciting / nervous end of season ever!

Re: FT: IPSWICH TOWN 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Gotta be one of the biggest results of the season. No full backs, losing Morrison but still keeping a clean sheet and kicking a winner away from home when everyone else dropped points. Bang in form!

Re: FT: IPSWICH TOWN 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
A terrific night for your boys.Almost perfect results. You are now 12 points clear off seventh place so the play offs are now a certainty. Can you finish top two? Yes of course you can.

Sheffield Utd beat hull Friday which is quite likely, the carrot crunchers are out of the playoffs before they visit us......

It’s win / win really isn’t it. If Wolves take points off them it’s good, if they all take points of Wolves we can catch them up. That’s of course if we keep picking up results ourselves.

Great result, we never do particularly well at Ipswich
Just in from work and daughters netball duties ( straight from work to running around to netball ) , for some stupid reason i thought we were playing tomorrow night, otherwise i would have followed the game ( as one of the netball places ( she trains for 2 teams tonight ) has really good wifi ) instead i had a snooze in the van :hehe:

Forget that. I want to catch wolves. Won't take much more for the arsehole to fall out of those Wolves fans 😂

Ref gave a goal, that's what counts!
Having seen it again...
I thought the SSN bloke was saying he touched it getting up, which i disputed.
But theball bounced from one arm to the other as he went down...
\Def handball, but the ref gave the goal - that's all that counts.
Makes up for the clanger againt Millwall.

In was going to predict a draw as I didn't think we would do the double, not being negative just sometimes these things just "happen" over history don't they.
Good 3 points for us that mind with a makeshift defence and all considered.
Hopefully the result to define our season.
