FT: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 1 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Saturday 3pm. Wembley Stadium.
Referee: Mike Dean
Assistants: Darren Cann, Dan Robathan
Fourth official: Paul Tierney
Cardiff City still hold the record for playing in front of the current record atendance at the new Wembley. Mike Dean was the referee that day as well back in 2008.
Let's hope it ends better this time.

I would like to find a place for Paterson, perhaps at rb, even though Warnock reckons he can't defend.

99% sure we won't see Jazz Richards but only natural and fit RB so goes in for me.
We need to start a) building partnerships and b) getting our dangerous players on the pitch together. Paterson is potentially a dangerous player, Bamba may need to come in to produce some ball playing ability from the back but otherwise this team is best so far.

It's live on Danish channel 3+, so there should be good streams available.

Re: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Confirmation that Spurs will be missing five players (four of whom would probably get into Spurs' strongest team) tomorrow.

Still think we've got an outside chance if Warnock can sort the defence out.

He cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
We just dont have a combination of defenders who can stop Spurs imo?

Tbh I'm a bit worried Harry's just going to have his way with us and not even break a sweat

Agreed, Winks will probably give us some problems.

Not looking forward to this one at all. Had to get a six-pack in to make it more exciting.

Yes it's not a good feeling expecting defeat.
Still I live in hope.

If we rely on Bamba for ball playing ability we are ****ed.
He can’t pass water.

I think he's playing Paterson up front

Re: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We aren't playing a centre forward.
-
Re: TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Beginning to think that Warnock will never drop Ralls or move Camarasa back to a more central role.

Maybe Warnock has been listening to Blakey and decided to play Murphy as a centre forward? If not then Hoilett and Murphy can play off Paterson (at least he wins his headers - and he knows where the goal is).

I think he’ll rotate Paterson, Murphy and Hoilett up front. I’m pleased to see Paterson there as he always seems to find a way to win his headers and I think he’s our most dangerous striker in terms of heading ability.
We’ll find out shortly if he has what we need :ayatollah:
