Corbyn delusional as ever….did he learn nothing from his abysmal showing at the last election? He lost seats that have never been blue ffs….the half Tory probably has a good chance of winning….

He lost a personality shoot out with Boris Johnson and had virtually the entire English media against him for fear of him making the most wealthy pay their dues. Never before has a politician been so venomously attacked as he was.
Let's not forget that he manage to overturn a huge Tory lead in the polls under Teresa May to force a hung parliament that cost the Tories £1bn to bribe the DUP into a coalition.

This has nothing to do with football.

Absolutely spot on! The Tory media is never so viscous as when the wealth of their own is under jeopardy.
Also let's not forget half the country was crazed up on Brexit at the time and the Labour party was painted as the destroyer of dreams. Never before has the majority been so overwhelmingly gaslit by the bullshit of a few.

But the 2017 election was an open goal that even Callum Robinson would have scored. A straight fight between Corbyn and May and she still gained the most votes and nobody liked her.
After 2017 Corbyn's problem was Brexit, as an old school leftie he thought the EU was just another World Economic Forum, globalist cabal whereas his party and Starmer are fully committed globalists. He looked weak as he wasn't in control of the party and the country do weak leaders as they have to pretend to be as hard as 10 bears.
Bojo with Dynamo's feats of trickery looked like he was in control and had a plan and the rest is history.

His own party tried twice to get him out, smeared him etc. what chance is there when that happens. I joined the Labour party on the back of Corbyn, he has his faults, although he's honest and he has integrity and won't suck up to big businesses and populism. He's what Left wing politicians should be. He didn't have a cat in hells chance, everything was against him.

Get them all back the dream team, Corbyn, Dianne Abbott, McClusky, McDonnell, Long-Baily, Labour voters need a real left party to vote for, now is the time!

Exactly that's why he should challenge them with a new party, payback time, and he's popular with real Labour voters.

He won’t be getting my vote because I’m going to vote for the party most likely to get your lot out - that’s the priority for the next election.

Re: Sir Keir Starmer faces the spectre of a rival 'real Labour' party led by Jeremy Corbyn, friends of the ex-party leader claimed last night.
The issue here is that a rival party might take votes from About, in the same way that the Reform party may take votes from the Conservatives. Neither party can really afford to lose a chunk of their core vote.

I’ve changed in that these days I vote to try to stop a party winning as a first choice before voting for the party I support. I think many do the same thing - after all, the only reason anyone can possibly vote for this Government must be to keep another party out mustn’t it?
-

I think that's been the case for the last 13 years. While Blair is now generally seen as an arsehole, Labour's pledges in 1997 of Education were probably the last time a party was voted in on a positive message. There has been little positivity in British politics since.

We'd had 18 years of the Tories by 1997. 13 years of labour was enough by 2010 and now we've had enough of another 14 years of the Tories (although they've probably overstayed their welcome this time).
Wonder how long it'll be til the country's had enough of this version of the Labour Party?

One term only with a note, I'm afraid there is no money left.

I'm talking more generally, you've become more aggressive and fervent in your now entrenched left wing view. Admit it, you're in a "culture war" echo chamber on twitter. I've seen a marked change in you over time. Not having a pop just making an observation

But I thought you'd only been posting on here a tomato season?
Strange that in this thread, I'm being accused on the one hand of abandoning my left wing principals to vote Tory lite and on the other I'm in a culture war echo chamber on Twitter that makes me more aggressive and fervent in my entrenched left wing view. You Tories need to make your minds up :xmashehe:. In reality, the truth is much simpler, I'll do whatever makes a defeat more likely for your lot at the ballot box.
I see you ignored my question on what would possess anyone to keep on voting for this Government - what have they done in the last four years that makes you proud to be a Tory?

I don't think he's really sure, I think he takes a lead from Sludge on this point, then the others on here for other views?
If he was proper left like some of the others, he would be wetting himself with excitement at the mention of Jewemy coming back to beat up Starmer :hehe:

Yeah, you two have a chat between yourselves and maybe you can sort a united approach out between you - you may also work out an answer to my question as to why on earth you are still backing this Government.

Ah yeah, anything you don't like is an echo chamber.
Daily Mail and GBeebies is gods honest news isn't it.

"Gbeebies" is such a cringe term. I'll bet that prat Owen Jones uses it day in day out. You and Bob need to lay off the culture WARS stuff.
And stop supporting avowed communists. Not a good look

Where did he mention Daily Mail or GB News? Neither of which you consume, would be my guess?
Strange way to argue against being part of a culture-war when you say stuff like that.

You find it cringe but it's the truth, television to park old people in front of like you would a child to keep them occupied.
