Has anybody heard anything from him lately, is he ok? Hope he’s in the pink. I believe TOBW used to be in touch with him.
A great poster and true gentleman.

I've not heard from Cal all year. I've not sent my Christmas card outs yet this year, but I'll send one to him as normal and see what I get back - I think I mentioned before that last year I got a card back, but, although this was no indication that anything had happened to him in the wording, I'm practically certain that it wasn't written by him (presumably, it was his wife who wrote the card).
Hope he's well. Cal and I had some good banter about his castle on the Outer Isles of Scotland, maids, that wretched butler of his and the Gentlemen's Club in St John's Wood. Please pass on my best wishes when you send your Christmas card, 'Bob.'

Had some great chats back in the day. Hope he is ok. Exchanged quite a few Christmas cards but I moved home and also lost his address. He sent me his book, which was a lovely read. Came across this piece, always wondered what he looked like

A true gent and an old school poster. I miss his posting on here.
Another old school poster I miss too is the QPR supporter from eons ago. Anyone know what happened to him? Thought he might have started to post again once Warnock took over, as we have shared history
Made some great contributions on here. Hope he's keeping well.
I'll mention the names of all who've contributed to the thread when I send the card.
Send my regards Bob.
Hope the old fella is still going strong.
And my regards and as Mike says I hope he’s in fine fettle
Give him my best wishes too. Legendary poster and a fine human being.
Mine too please Bob. Thank you
Please give comrade Caliburn best wishes from me.
And me:thumbup:
Regards to cal from me too please Bob
Please add my name to the list. The gentleman is sorely missed.
And me and Mrs Bob
Please add me too...
We spoke on occasion and he so kindly sent me a copy of his book, a wonderful read.
A gentleman in the truest sense of the word.
He was kind enough to send me a few books over the years and is much missed on here.
Happy Christmas Cal and best wishes for the new year.
Very much missed.
Great poster from this boards halcyon days, hope he’s well.
Miss his posts. A true part of the furniture at CCMB. Hope he's doing well.
Good poster and is sorely missed.
Enjoyed his posts.
Add my name too
And me all the best Caliburn:thumbup:
Just to say that I've just spoken to Cal on the phone this morning. I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned before on here that he has Parkinsons and he sounded a bit vague when we first started speaking (he had trouble recalling who I was). When he realised who I was though, he gradually began to sound like the witty and clever poster he was on here (he made me laugh when he said that he probably wouldn't be able to fit into our midfield any more) and he ended by thanking me for "making his morning". He also passed on Christmas greetings to all of the users of the board.
I'll send a card to him tomorrow and include all of the names of those who have contributed to this thread.
I don't recall this being mentioned before and I'm sorry to hear he's got Parkinson's, but it's nice to know he's still with us. It doesn't seem to have affected his sense of humour thankfully :-)
Thank you for letting us know about the conversation and for passing on his Xmas greetings
Great to hear that you've spoken to him.
Thanks for doing so.
Thanks Bob. All the best Cal.
Just written the card and I'll post it on the way to tonight's match - all contributors to this thread were mentioned.
Thank you
