With the hearing aid in, it sounds more like fanny than yanny, but the Mrs, who has perfect hearing, said it's defo Laurel.

Re: Yanny or Laurel (warning: not recommendations for new signings)?
I've gone from yanni to laurel, and now I'm back to yanni.
It's really weird. I couldn't understand that my mate heard different. Then half hour later I went back to it and heard the same as him. Bizarre.

Definitely very strange. So far, I’m the only one in my family who hears Laurel.

Well, there was plenty of loud music in the early 80s, has to be said. And just the getting older bit...

It's like the high-pitched music played at bus stops to keep the yoof away.

Which, of course, I’ve never actually heard!

Re: Yanny or Laurel (warning: not recommendations for new signings)?
I've listened a few times but can only hear yanny

Re: Yanny or Laurel (warning: not recommendations for new signings)?
The track has a guy saying both words played over each over at different pitches, depending on how well tuned your ear is to certain pitches is what word you will be able to identify

I can't even hear a slight difference to Laurel.

Re: Yanny or Laurel (warning: not recommendations for new signings)?
What I can’t hear is why this is important or why I should be interested
I’m a Laurel btw

I expected to hear the same as the rest of the old gits on here - but can't get the 'nn' of Yanny at all - and Laurel... eh?

Laurel! (and the dress was gold). Can't see how it could be otherwise.

So weird. My wife said that Yanny sounded high pitched and computer generated. To me, Laurel sounds like a mature male voice.
