Given that the majority of PL clubs now have LGBTQ fans groups, does a similar group exist at Cardiff?

Given that the majority of PL clubs now have LGBTQ fans groups, does a similar group exist at Cardiff?
I dont know why they need such groups. If they dont want to be treated differently why do they insist on having their own seperate fan group?
I guess they don't need it, but they want it. Why would anyone be bothered by them having a group?Quote:

I'm not bothered, I just don't really see the need for them to be singled out. I think football is quite reflective of society in general - years ago it was deemed ok to take the piss and be openly hostile to blacks, gays, women etc. But thankfully we've moved on from that stuff (in the main).Quote:

I know of a gay Cardiff fan, followed City for years. He doesnt feel the need to wear a pink top, rainbow laces, or shout it from the rooftops, he just goes to watch the game. At the end of the day people are going to watch a game of football not flaunt their sexuality.
And no I didnt read the article, youve read one, youve read them all. Last one I read some hetrosexual Newcastle fan had started a crowd funding page for a rainbow flag in the Gallowgate. Just stank of attention seeking, trying prove how liberal he was.

Needless to say, the rugby team, of which I was a member, couldn't give a shit and neither verbally or physically abused the guy. Ever.
My point is that while I'm sure there ARE some homophobic people about, I think there is a lot of paranoia amongst the LGBT community about what people's reactions to them may be. I also think there are a few attention seekers that go out of their way to provoke a reaction imho.

I have never been to a Brighton vs Cardiff game and not heard homophobic chanting, yes we are not at the stage where the whole crowd join in and its significant chanting, but there are decent sized pockets of fans that join in.
I remember a game at Ninian park where Matthew Taylor got abuse all game, that was clearly audible from the stands.
I think a football player today would get abuse from the terraces. Not on the Fashanu scale, but quite significant. If I was a player i would be thinking why would i need to subject myself to that.
