I think not

And to think, the Beeb used to be excellent over the Xmas period.

I didn't realise the league of gentleman were doing a new episode, that's good at least.
Also if you've never watched their other show "inside no 9" you should.

I don't watch much, a bit of news and sport. I work offshore, last time home in five weeks I watched The Vietnam War, H is for Hawk and a couple of Blue Planets, my wife was staggered by how much tv I'd watched calling me a couch potato. I've tried watching recommended series, but for some reason I even abandon the ones I'm enjoying, can't be arsed. Might have to stop watching the news next time home if I'm going to force fed the royal wedding.

If Michael Collins was still alive, he'd put Brendan O'Carroll etc against the wall and shot.

Me too even the second time I watched it when I showed it to my Mrs. I've not seen much of the 3rd series yet because I can't get iplayer but I don't think I've seen a bad episode.
It's like a dark comedy version of black mirror.

Re: WOW, What A Cracker Of A Christmas on BBC
We are getting the TV that they think we want.
Mrs Brown's boys for example - very popular for something that seemingly ' nobody likes'. Clearly many do.
It's a slow drift to the bottom, and we are all too distracted by the paradox of 'choice'.
People used to make their likes and dislikes known. But it seems frowned upon to be seen to get too bothered by anything these days.

Unlikely there will be much coverage of that.
Private family affair in St Georges Chapel, Winsor.

Does anyone watch Storyville on the BBC? Fascinating documentaries from all around the world.

Re: WOW, What A Cracker Of A Christmas on BBC
Is that Top of the Pops shite on BBC 1 again? That became old hat 20 years ago.
The only good thing on the Beeb over Christmas this year and every other year is our dear Queen's Chrimbo message. Isn't it simply marvellous that she sacrifices part of her day to address us? More so since Charlie was remarried because she runs the risk of gutsy Camilla scoffing what's left of the turkey when she's away from the grub table.

You get the TV you deserve.
To be honest, we don't watch that much TV over Christmas. This line-up looks shit though. Shite comedy.
Dr Who is the only thing I'll bother with. Then I'm popping over to Sludge's for an evening of comedy - they should put him in charge of the Beeb.
League of Gentlemen though - is that on this Christmas or next, because it sounds like it's still being filmed.

Does Charles record a speech aswell just in case she pops her clogs before Christmas day?

Re: WOW, What A Cracker Of A Christmas on BBC
I predict she will use this Christmas address to announce, from behind a full face veil, that she has converted to Islam. Phil the Greek, sat close to her wearing a Life of Brian style fake beard, will not his approval.
