RULE CHANGE IDEA(S) especially with VAR next season
To cut out on time-wasting and showing disrespect to refs / opponents / fans.
- No substitutions allowed in injury time (killing time leaving pitch)
- Stop the clock as in Rugby.
- Bodycam / microphones for refs.
Re: RULE CHANGE IDEA(S) especially with VAR next season
I like the idea of stopping the clock everytime the ball goes out and playing 60 minute games. Would probably never happen but would like to see how it goes.
Re: RULE CHANGE IDEA(S) especially with VAR next season
I like added time, but it should be enforced that substitutions in injury time mean another minute added on.
Mics for refs is a must - as in rugby the sound feed should be available for the host broadcaster to receive.

Penalty goal rather than red card for professional foul that stops a goal scoring chance.

Nice idea but not happening unless you like watching your football after the watershed.

No penalty/foul for a player who dives but the next tackle on that player is a free hit including studs up.

Why not 80 minutes as in rugby? Their games don't seem to last for longer than a football match once you take into account the stopped clock.
Maybe a 10 minute sin bin for over celebrating a goal ... goading opposing fans like Dier & Duffy this weekend.
Re: RULE CHANGE IDEA(S) especially with VAR next season
I don't think the rules need to be changed. They just need to be enforced. Four linos instead of two would be a start.

Nail on head.
Especially holding players, wether in or outside the box. (Pelanty if in, natch)

We'd be at the stadium for 3 or 4 hours. Currently the ball is in play about 55 minutes in a 90 minute match

How let the big 6 teams get away with what they like, then moan like fook when something doesn't go the way they want
Re: RULE CHANGE IDEA(S) especially with VAR next season
Goals from outside the box count double
5 yellows for a team = team red, opposing captain chooses which player is sent off

That's how they get their way. Whine, whine and whine, so next week the refs know they'll be pulled up for it so they give the big sides the benefit. If it's soft, nobody will remember by the next game. If they don't give it, Pep will be bleating again and it'll be talked about.
