Th actress Denise Coffey as passed away at the age of 85
Not a familiar name these days but she was one of the regular cast members of "Do Not Adjust Your Set" a children's series which also included in the cast Terry Jones,Michael Palin and Eric Idle., as well as David Jason.Later episodes also included Terry Gilliam animations. The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah band also appeared
Five months after this series ended Monty Python came to our screens
The programme consisted of a series of satirical comedy sketches including the regular feature 'Captain Fantastic' which starred David Jason as the Captain and Denise Coffey as Mrs Black " the most evil woman in the world"

RIP Denise Coffey
Watched the series about the Pythons on Netflix recently as there was a lot of great background on Terry Gilliam whose animations I still think are brilliant today.

Remember her from Do Not Adjust. Launched so many careers in TV comedy. RIP

Remember Do Not Adjust Your Set very well. Loved it, so it was no surprise that I took to Python later on. RIP Denise Coffey
