the hidden phone idea has been around for years ( since everyone was converting t4's ) its not the perfect answer, but gives a little bit of peace of mind
I used to have 2 in my VW splitscreen, hidden behind panels, i then tried to track the phone with a website i paid for ( 10 tracks for a fiver ) the area the phone could be in was massive, this was about 15 years ago and mobile phone pinging has improved alot now and it pinpoint to a house

My thoughts.
Why are people so concerned with tracking a camper van and not their cars? It seems they don't track their cars because if they did they'd know how to do it.
