Team for Saturday
Etheridge
Pelts
Bennett
Morrie
Flint
Nml
Ralls
Bacuna
Murphy
Paterson
Gatzel
I would much prefer Junior to start as I thought he made a big difference when he came on v Derby. Not sure if Warnock trusts Tomlin so Paterson may get a start although he is clearly not 100%fit yet.

Junior always makes an impact when he comes on, as that’s what he is, an impact 20 minute player !
Never ever, should he start a game, as he’s not a 90 minute player.

Really dont agree with you BT. Junior does more in 20mins than Murphy does in 70. I would start him. Adds balance to the left hand side as well.

Have a look back at the games he’s started, he’s the pits !!!
He does more in the last 20 minutes, because he’s come on fresh and the opposition defenders are knackered.
We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one

Match facts
- The last season Cardiff and Middlesbrough faced, the Bluebirds won both league meetings 1-0, doing so in the 2017-18 season.
- None of the last 24 league meetings - all in the second-tier - have ended as a draw between Cardiff and Middlesbrough (12 wins each).
- In all competitions, Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has won all eight of his home managerial matches against Middlesbrough, doing so with seven different teams.
- Cardiff City have played the highest percentage of their passes long in the Championship this season (24.2%).
- The age gap between Cardiff manager Neil Warnock and Middlesbrough boss Jonathan Woodgate is 31 years and 52 says - on the day Woodgate made his league playing debut for Leeds in October 1998, Warnock was managing his 520th match in the Football League (including play-offs).
- Middlesbrough are averaging 52.4% possession in Championship games this season, compared to 43.4% possession last season under Tony Pulis.

Like daja vu
It’s great we’ve got players that can make a difference from the bench, but the fact is if Hoilett started in place of Murphy for example then we’d have his pace and energy to make the same impact.
Hoilett puts in a good cross. We need that for more than 20 minutes.

In the past I've spent more enjoyable 45 minutes staring at stains in my pants.

I decided against buying the game today. They’ve been ruining my weekends. Until there are some green shoots I think I’ll keep it that way

Why was Murphy subbed? Injured?
