Walked passed (I think if it's the one by the back of Debenhams) the global buffet place today, being renovated.

thanks folks
might not go out to eat anyway now, the oldest has her BTEC sports exam after 1/2 term and today (after her 2nd GCSE Eng Lit exam ) they announced the first round of Mocks ( she has her timetable and has 18 in a 2 week period ( the week after 1/2 term ) so she has said she wants to stay home and revise ( fair enough )

Happy Gathering still there. Pop in now and again on match days for some dim sum. The Riverside has taken over the iconic carcase of The Ninian!

By far the best Chinese buffet I've experienced in Cardiff. Been going here for years and the standard never drops!

Prefer JRC personally as there’s more choice.

These buffets are usually shit (cheap meat) - but Spice Route was really nice. This is a few years ago though.

Really? Whenever I have been there, the meat is really poor quality.

Races/cultures don't exist anymore, we are all one big happy family of eaters, so you should be asking where is a good place to eat, not dividing us into different labels and categories. Cheers

While i agree that buffets can be crap, we are all Veggie ( apart from my mum, and she should just be grateful we are taking her out for a bite to eat ) , so the quality of meat isnt a massive issue
