Was thinking of going but never got round to it , was in my final year at college in Manchester when they and the stone roses were breaking through , saw both of them live at a venue called the band on the wallQuote:

I went to the Pills, Thrills tour at the SU a while back. Same that time really, great gig but an awful venue. I refused to pay £30+ to go to that shithole again. Glad it went well though.

Our's just have club nights... and I have uni on Tuesday mornings
I went. It was bloody brilliant.
Played most of pills, thrills and mixed it in with older stuff aswell such as Hallelujah and 24hour party people.

Fair enough. I think it's shite. Poor sound, claustrophobic towards the back with the low ceiling. I'd go to see someone there if it was reasonably priced. But for £30+ I'd want a decent venue. And for me it isn't.Quote:
