"Wonderkid", like legend, is a term used far too often in football reporting I reckon.

"former Leeds..." is stretching the truth somewhat.Quote:
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Doncaster Rovers and made just a single appearance for Leeds before dropping into non-league and is now plying his trade for Tadcaster Albion.
But gets more clicks than "former Doncaster Rovers..."
This site seems to be called Football Wonderkids, I assume it's not a project of yours. I saw Ogo Obi come on for Hampton and Richmond in a televised FA Cup tie recently, a step up from our DVP team of last season but probably not what he envisaged when Man Utd took him on trial as a youngster and he was being dubbed the Nigerian Messi.

Imagine the meltdown on here if our only signing is a 22 year old from Tadcaster :hehe: :hehe:
Who was the last leeds wonderkid dave jones signed. He got sent off against Leeds for us
Hopefully we’re not looking for goalscorers in poundland!
