If Fairwater FC, were in the Women's Wold Cup
Where would they finish?
I don't know anything about them but just googled Cardiff Combination parks football and it looks like they won the League, how do you think they would do in the Women's World cup if they were allowed to enter?

I think that they'd come last and lose all of their matches. I wonder what you think?

Seeing as none of them are professional athletes, I'd guess they'd get spanked every game. And the last 30 minutes would be a joke.

Would they get spanked before or after the game, and would it be televised? :tumbleweed:

I played 5s a few years back against a girl who played for Swansea City.
Technically she was excellent, hardly gave the ball away, work rate great, strong on the ball, great movement, good balance etc..difficult on a 5 a side court against big 6 ft lads who can hit the ball with a fair bit of power- but she certainly held her own.
Put my foot in it a bit when I saw her Swansea City shorts and said ‘you can get them off for a start’ 😂
Also when I was in Loughborough the England women’s captain was there and she was outstanding.
In general these girls might lack the size and maybe pace of their male counterparts, but there are plenty of them have real skill.
They also seem more suited to a passing based game than we are , seem less greedy and naturally want to share the ball.

Re: If Fairwater FC, were in the Women's Wold Cup
No because the Fairwater side aren't pros and I seriously doubt their fitness levels. However women's sides have routinely lost to u14 boys in the past, so usually 11 men/boys who play and train regularly enough will beat any women's side comfortably.

Re: If Fairwater FC, were in the Women's Wold Cup
They would win the world cup.
Assuming they had enough players left from all the red cards
Sorry girls.

Re: If Fairwater FC, were in the Women's Wold Cup
I'd be surprised if they didn't win it.

I'm not sure, but they do get beat by 14 year old boys, so I think they would hold their own especially if they stuck in!

They'd lose each game comfortably

Based on what?
If you read the links above to both the USA and Australian women's teams, you'll see that boys teams have beaten them comfortably.

Based on that they're female Sunday league players versus female professionals. Is there a Fairwater men's team? How do you think they'd do against England or France?

FEMALE Sunday League team, honestly?
...I've had a 'mare! I didn't bother opening the link and assumed Fairwater AFC were a men's team! :getscoat:

Re: If Fairwater FC, were in the Women's Wold Cup
