Lots of rape convictions being quashed this week

Multiple stories around the news this week, the one linked above the girl deleted selected messages from a Facebook conversation to paint a particular story.

what infuriates me about these stories is that even when quashed the damage is already done, that boy spent 4 years in prison, and then we have cases like Ched Evans, which ended a promising football career for the boy.

But worse than any of that is the fact that these false accusations and wrong convictions make life extremely difficult for girls and boys who have genuinely been victims of horrendous crimes

And these women having destroyed people’s lives still remain anonymous

"innocent until proved guilty" doesn't seem to matter where the media are concerned.
