What's Pearcey3 got to say about the Reading's new away crowd limit?
Sounds to me Reading have got too much money and don't need away fans £?

Buying online may be a problem with the need for an address but what about ‘walk up’, do football clubs with a potentially half empty stadium refuse money? Would a ‘walk up’ need I.D. proof of address etc? There’s obviously large areas of emptiness in the stadium now, all a bit strange.

They have, causing a bit of mayhem at the moment this early in the season. God knows what the scenario would be if they were our last away game and promotion (or relegation😱) depended on it. Not just us though, there’s potential huge away followings ( who
won’t give a shite about allocation) who’ll just turn up, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Brum etc, even the Wurzels are just up the road. I foresee chaos.

Their last fixture of the season is Swansea. They shouldn't have much to worry about there. They play Boro at home two weeks prior. Could be interesting.

They played Sheff Weds 2 weeks ago.
Any idea if they went in the home end.
I must have had a dozen texts asking if I had spares

A year ago I was dead set against Club 1871. They only had about 200 in that section of the South Stand. Gradually under Gomes it improved and now they create a decent atmosphere.
So all for it now.
Anyway I will be blowing you lot kisses from the stand opposite...the Eamon Dolan Stand.
Re: What's Pearcey3 got to say about the Reading's new away crowd limit?
Will probably cost Reading a few hundred thousand pounds a season in away ticket revenue.

Without doubt but the owners accepted there was a problem with the atmosphere and wanted to do something about it.

So instead of getting better players in and trying to WIN home games, they come up with a devilish plan to win games, is by banning away fans
That’s one plan, that’s straight out of BLACKADDER :hehe:

Nope. We have the biggest net transfer spend of any Championship club this summer. Up until a few weeks ago we have been under a transfer embargo.

Neil Warnock: "We gave them a few thousand tickets - not my idea - but if it was my decision I wouldn’t give them any"
