My silly lady ran the hoover over the wire going from my sound bar to the subwoofer box, and cut it in two. Its the clear , narrow speaker wire. Can this be stripped back and joined??

Yes, but may affect the sound quality slightly (if high end speaker cable).
Alternatively, replacement speaker cableis relatively cheap depending on the quality.
Only cheapish Samsung, the subwoofer seems to be a sealed unit, so dont think I could replace the whole cable.

Just lay both ends of the cable flat when there is no colour. You wiill see it when stripped, Make sure no kinks. Sorry. It will work as long as you don't try and play Ricky Martin through it cause he will break them again .Quote:
