The article on the beeb just before "Chas has it" was announced was a call from a guy who had a call from the nursing home where his mum is;
They told him she might have it, but if she gets ill, she won't qualify for a ventilator, and her records have been marked with DNR (Do Not Resussitate).
Disgusting 2-tier system.
Surely the "DNR" notification would be with the lady's consent though?Quote:

My dad has been DNRd on his medical notes. Consent is not needed if the patient is deemed to have mental health impairment, as I understand it. ie not able to make the decision themselves. It's a fine line though.Quote:
