Quite a lofty position for Bristol City, Jursset should savour it whilst he can before the inevitable relegation scrap begins.

You'd love Warnock as your manager. Got bullied by a team thats come up from league one, yesterday I see. Millwall should've won by a few goals. That has to be a concern for you?

Re: Are we REALLY as physical as other fans and managers are making out?
This Worzel knows feck all about football.
Ignore him and leave him to his relegation scraps
6 months ago him and his buddies were crying about how shite their manager is and how they'd love to have Warnock in charge
He's a waste of space

Sounds like the excitement was post-match and perhaps "marred" should be replaced by "saved".
Yeah, I suppose you prefer the Lee Johnson way. You really do set yourself up for these things Jursset.
Looking for some positives, apparently your neighbour's having his house painted very soon

Re: Are we REALLY as physical as other fans and managers are making out?
Has that sad act from Bristol been reading the forum of every team we play, get a life you racist creep :hehe:
Also one thing we aren't is a long ball team. We've been playing the most entertaining football I've seen at city since DJ.
-
Re: Are we REALLY as physical as other fans and managers are making out?
After reading quite a bit of the Wolves forum it seems dirty players is what they were expecting, so when it came to the game every tackle or contested ball was seen as a foul. If the players were of the same mind, then they were beaten before a ball was kicked.

This.
It is apparently "Anti-Football" to outplay the other team and not allow them space to do damage! comical

Yeah you must be right and EVERYONE else over a decade must be wrong about Warnock's teams.
They really aren't cynical dirty sides at all.....
Um, have you seen the league table recently?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There is nothing worse than bad losers......get over it.

Re: Are we REALLY as physical as other fans and managers are making out?
Last season we spent most of it trying to avoid the drop! Interestingly nobody tarred us with the "typical Warnock team tag then?
Neither did with Rotherham the season before.
Is it because we have had a very good start and put two of the fancied teams to the sword that opposition managers, fans, etc
have tarred us with the "typical Warnock team" tag?

Quite.
What were we meant to do? Let them have the ball and as much space as they wanted?

Re: Are we REALLY as physical as other fans and managers are making out?
Is there anything wrong with being physical? Arsenal have played some of the most attractive football seen in the premier league under Wenger but his best sides were also physical. What other fans may not like is aggressive football Warnock can manage but I don't believe we have been aggressive or dirty. If other teams wish to make plans on the basis of us being aggressive and dirty then have at it because it will mean a pre-match week wasted and improve the chances of us walking away with another three points.

This is true. Someone on here posted the other day than teams seem beaten before we play them as they think we will be much more physical than we actually are. The direct fast attacking stye is surprising people but we need to be ready for when teams work it out. In the meantime if everyone gets their knickers in a twist before we kick a ball and continue to whinge after we've beaten them I'lll live with that. We all can see thats much more to us than strong arm tactics and Im really enjoying watching City again.

I saw several Villa bodies on the pitch - especially during the first half, when there was four minutes of injury time, but didn't see the pulling and checks that Wolves fans are complaining about. Compared with other teams, I'm not even sure we are big enough to bully, what with our with our fullbacks and Damour in the line-up. That Bamba is a MONSTER, mind!
Official match stats from yesterday show 13 fouls apiece.
How can that happen when Wolves are twinned with Brazil and we are Sunday league thugs ?

The bleating of the Wolves manager is music to my ears as all he is doing is giving other teams a good idea of how to beat his expensively assembled team. What does he expect, teams to merely stand off his players & allow them to dictate the game? Welcome to the Championship Nuno as that's not how it works around here pal.
Looking at that Wolves forum they seem to think that they are going to walk this league but I think that they are deluded. I couldn't give a gnat's chuff how much they have paid for certain players as I cannot see a team dominated by so many non-British players coping easily with the demands of the Championship. They proved yesterday that they were not up for the battle against a committed team & they will get more of the same when the play the likes of Sheffield United, Barnsley, Ipswich, QPR etc.
They will find it particularly tough in December, January and February.
I can see Wolves finishing around 10th

Re: Are we REALLY as physical as other fans and managers are making out?
No, but its a convenient excuse for the opposition

Dai, I don't know how serious you were with that post, but nonetheless, I agree that Wolves will drop when the weather gets miserable. Perhaps within the top 10 though.
Derby & Leeds are the boys to watch.

Jurrrrrrrrsset - Guy Fawkes Night coming early to Bristol this year.
Nov 4th - Bristol damp squibs vs. Cardiff's Rockets, Crackers, Bangers and Sparklers.
Light the blue touchpaper and retreat to a place of safety.

Wait so you're on holiday reading a Cardiff and the Wolves messageboard trying to point score over a football team?
I think you need to take a long hard look at your life :hehe:
