How will Coleman play this one?

Return of 5 at the back seems likely for ROI. Allen, Ledley, Ramsey midfield, with Vokes and HRK I think.

Now is probably a good time to book next year's summer holiday
Re: Wales starting XI v Georgia
Georgia have only won 2 competive home matches since 2012, against footballing minnows Gibraltar & Scotland.
Meanwhile Wales have a grand total of :oh: victories over the Georgians.

They played Ireland off the pitch a few weeks ago, they were unlucky not to win that. Was shocked how technical they were.

He's not playing. He retired years ago mate.
Re: Wales starting XI v Georgia
Georgia are a good team. Simply put. Coleman must use the strongest team he think's based on training this week because there are a few marginal calls. If he doesn't then Monday don't matter. The yellow peril hanging over a few Wales player's is cause for concern. We have the best Welsh national team for ages, my glass is half full. Ireland can chat all they want about Bale being absent, you would wouldn't you? What a boost to them. I was gutted this morning but having reasoned it out I still fancy us. Friday first though.
Re: Wales starting XI v Georgia
Weve got to play it like Israel away in the Euro campaign. OK we havent got Bale, but we need 6 points from the next 2 games so weve got little choice but to get at them from the start.
Georgia have better footballers than their world ranking position and whilst we have to be wary of them I hope we dont show them too much respect. Id rather we didnt allow them to grow in confidence by sitting off them 1st half.

They're a big & strong side. They'll match up easiliy to Vokes, slightly less so to HRK. We need pace to get behind & then ??? Woodburn & HRK to start? Ramsey & Allen need to get into the box as often as possible.

Would it be mad to replace Bale with Brooks?

Don't think so. The debut bounce can work can't it. These young lads seem full of beans. Less pressure away also.

Surely 4 points would do if we win on Friday and draw with Ireland.

Brooks can play wide, likes to run from deep, has the ability to take on players, and he can shoot. He seems to be the most natural replacement for Bale, even though he is inexperienced, but he is a couple of years older than Woodburn!

Good stuff. We have options now. They might be young but we have a great track record of giving them a chance. It's why they want to play for us given half a chance.

To finish 2nd yes but then we would probably the worst runner up so would miss out on the play offs
We need 6 points

It will never happen, but ...
Hennessy
Gunter - Chester - Williams - Davies - Taylor
Brooks - Ramsey - Allen - Woodburn
HRK
Re: Wales starting XI v Georgia
Ben Davies in a back 3 is a complete waste given his current form.

I like that team but it is too attack minded. I would stick Ledley into midfield and have Brooks on the bench ready to come on if needed.

5 at the back is too defensive and we need to win this game so time for 4.2.3.1
........................Hennessey
..Gunter......Chester.....Williams.......Taylor
.................Allen..........Davies
.....Robson-Kanu.....Ramsey......Lawrence
............................Vokes
