Hello,
Not posted in a while, but recall this is the place to come for sensible advice! :hehe:
Off to Las Vegas next Tuesday for four nights, staying in the Luxor, stag trip of mixed ages, around 20 going.
All enjoy a drink, some a gamble, no nutters but a playful bunch!
Tips for dos and don'ts gratefully received.

Stayed at the Luxor about 20 years ago when it was a novelty; walked down there again last month to see what had changed and I reckon it will do fine for your stag do - a total cattle market now. Two very large annexes have been added to cram more people in so if you want to stay in the pyramid itself, make sure that's what you got. I guess all check-ins happen in the pyramid, though, as the queues were massive in mid-afternoon. Best advice is to change it if you can for something a bit further north on the strip; it looks close on google map but those blocks are mighty long! Luxor and MGM are south of the tacky end of the strip.Quote:

Final thought, you can spend a lot of time looking for somewhere decent to eat without spending a lot. Recommend the Grand Luxe Cafe at the Venetian or the Grand Palazzo which is adjacent. The surroundings are great, the food excellent and you won't come out feeling you've been robbed - and they have Stella and other Euro beers on tap as well! Enjoy

It is quality and one of the most memorable things we did. You can drink in there as well. We ordered gin and it came as a medical drip. You weigh yourself before going in and after.
Old vegas is good as well. We went in a strip club and I swear it was a comedy club. It was as if they'd picked out the most battle weary dancers on the planet
