Suggestions for over the counter cures please ?
Best to go to the doctor. I tried Claritin last Monday - splitting headache, still had the sneezes, drowsy and in bed by 8.
I don't suffer as badly as I used to, but Monday was crazy - I had sneezing fits that lasted 20 minutes at a time.
Re: OT - Hay fever cures.
There is no cure. Diphenhydramine will help with symptoms.
Re: OT - Hay fever cures.
I've seen people say that eating a spoonful a day of local honey can build up immunity to the local allergens and they become less-sensitive to it over time, not sure if there is any medical evidence to back that up but if it's worked for some people it's worth a go, it's good for you anyway so it can't do any harm, honey. :-)
Re: OT - Hay fever cures.
How does it feel when nature itself has decided that your very being is such an abomination that it has taken to literally attacking your senses in an attempt to bring you down?

Unless you're allergic to honey in which case you could die.
I suppose they wouldn't suffer from hayfever after dying mind.

I learnt in A-Level Biology that it's literally the opposite. Nature isn't doing any of this to slaughter humans.
Instead, your body is being such a spastic, that it assumes pollen in the air is a major threat to your body, and so ruins your respiratory system to stop this evil pollen from getting in. Same with any nonsensical allergies.
