These posters have said as much on here - consistently.
If you - yourself - were a serious poster, then it would be doubtful that there would be another poster on this board as apparently divorced from reality.
However, as you are a known full time WUM and have been since you posted as CrazyHorse (and whatever daft WUM personas before that), I cannot comprehend why anybody takes you seriously!
Akin to 'chris' without the smileys or the err.. 'humour', and ... sporting a daft, smug-mug Slade avatar
Give it up for goodness sake. It's pointless!

Again you have failed to contribute to the thread.
Give up you old fart.

I thought Paul/Bob and 'countless others' offered a very fair assessment of Slade's tenure. They didn't moan about every part of his management, and in fact went out of their way to give him credit for the good things he did. However, they didn't hold back in criticising his limitations, failures and blind-spots. And how is 'it' biting anyone on the arse - whatever 'it' is?

- 20 years in the bottom two leagues but only one player sought after, one player that any fool could have identified based on his headline and at no point looked like he was a good fit for us.
- a massive struggle to win two games in a row, though we did have 7 points from 9 more often than the media wished to say
- massive reluctance to give youth a chance
- despite his claims that he played variations of 4-4-2 it was one-paced and fairly rigid every game
- Kenwynne Jones played despite not scoring for 2 months
- dull and defeatist in interactions with fans and media
- ultimately stabalised us while being fairly successful. Did easily enough to walk into a lower championship role but strengths in no way suited a director of football role.
Where did you think it was going? Slade did well but he didn't have much left to offer us.

So my post you decided to have a go at is correct. Do you agree?
Slade did not play him 10 times but don't let the facts get in the way.
