At one time he was much sought after.

Seems a steady pair of hands, which is what they need at the moment. Hes won 4 promotions, hes no mug.

It wasn't long ago he was flavour of the month, did well with Southampton especially.

Wouldn’t want him at Cardiff.

Hull have appointed former Southampton and Reading boss Nigel Adkins as their new head coach on an 18-month contract.

Did well at Scunny and again at Southampton (although he had one hell of a side for League One and the Championship).
Reading not so much but I do like him. Hope he gets off to a slow start mind.

Was a goalkeeper in his playing days. His name used to be linked with quite a few decent jobs.

From what I remember was harsh to let him go from soton he did very well there.
Good manager. Can see a tough game for us.

I think he's got a decent record.

There's a lot worse managers around than him

Decent manager. He had his hands tied behind his back at Reading. I wish him well.
