If Clement had gone by now then I'm sure he would have gone to Swansea. As it happened the Sunderland job was available so he went there. If they go down this season he'll leave and takeover at Swansea next summer.
One million pounds per year, he was on £200,000 with Wales,but they offered to double his wage if he stayed.
It’s like a 3 million pound hand shake....win or lose he knows how very lucky he is to be offered a club contract. Back to live in Swansea in a year with family sorted for life.....easyQuote:
