The swans gained 2 wins and three draws from the last 12, losing their last 6. They had 33 pts, 3 points from going down on goal difference, they finished with -28, 17th had -19. They finished 18th.

We had 2 wins and 2 draws from our final 12, finishing on 30 pts, 6 points from going down on goal difference. Ours was -42, and 17th's was -16. We finished 20th

We were in the bottom 3 from gameweek 21 until the end. The swans dipped back in for the last two games, courtesy of the Saints and Hudds.

What does all this mean? who knows, but we need to get at least 4 wins or equivalent, is my guess.

If others keep picking up results, we might end up needing 5 wins, given that we rarely draw games (it's odd that our 4 draws have all been 0-0). It might just be that sort of season.

4 wins would take as to 37, as I said really a minimum

Yes, I think 40 points is the likely total required given the fixtures that Newcastle and Southampton have. For me it’s between the three of us
