Just realised that 1 player signed by slade, 2 by ole and 1 by trollope. What a trio of city managers there!
And of late they look pretty comfortable at this level. Bruno has always been prem class, Bennett had prem experience, as had Morrison who has of late looked much more assured. Pelts is the big surprise. He wasnt exactly flavour of the month in the championship but has suddenly looked a solid defender.
Quite a mix and credit to Slade and Trollope for picking 2 up on frees. OGS' signings cost around £6m for the 2 centre backs. Chicken feed by todays standards.
Of those 4, realistically Bennett and Manga could get another prem club.
Funny how things work out. Pity they hadnt been together from the start of the season.
