Warnock 2nd favourite for Rangers job
Can’t see this mentioned anywhere - Warnock is second favourite for the Rangers job behind Steven Gerrard.
2/1 with some
Seems a bit of an obscure choice for second fave?

Big step down in quality, can't see it myself

Re: Warnock 2nd favourite for Rangers job
Ill be honest and Ill probably be shot down here, but if we do go up I wouldn't mind moving him on. Give him a million quid bonus as a thank you.
If we stay down then keep him.

So we can get a big name again and start from scratch?
If he takes us up he can stay here for a full season, even if we don't surpass 10 points for all I care.

It's a long f*cking way from Cornwall, his tractor will never get there!

Whilst your loyalty is commendable, it doesn’t seem like a water tight strategy IMO.

Bigger crowds though.
Can’t see it. They can probably only afford to pay him about £100 a week.

It's nothing to do with a big name, I'd just like us to have a crack at staying up comfortably if we do make it. I don't think his style would be able to cope in the Premier league and we'd be on the end of a lot of heavy defeats.
There's only really 3 teams any good at passing in our league which has helped us over the course of the season. We wouldn't get the luxury of playing so many poor teams.
That said though the reason we are where we are is because warnock makes the team better than the sum of the parts so I can also see what moving him would do to us negatively as well.
I guarantee that if we were bottom at Christmas with 5 points, no one would be saying he deserves a full season like above.

When will Bellamy be ready to manage us?

Re: Warnock 2nd favourite for Rangers job
I say great idea can he start like tomorrow?

Re: Warnock 2nd favourite for Rangers job
Why would he take a job with a club that's rotten to the core ?

I imagine the same was said about us when he took the job down here

And get a season ticket refund
This is Warnock's last job, he's signed a contract extension and he will be at Cardiff a little longer. Steven Gerrard will regret taking that job I think.

Louth posts for effect. Most ignore him now.

Jimmy the Jock is totally unbiased of course. Your club is rotten to the core, and you know it.

You could be on to something, if we stay down I reckon there'll be so many spare free tickets going could save me a few hundred quid.

We are building something here so, even if we dont go up this year, we will continue to improve and attendances will grow under NW. Much like what happened under Dave Jones. I would be confident of success next season if we are still in the Championship but we still have an excellent chance this year and I for one am enjoying the ride.

Its Gerrards to turn down, I suspect.

Totally agree, I've already renewed for next season. Its an ongoing joke/abuse/banter thing.

Warnocks record in the premier league is not as bad as made out.
He went down with Sheffield United by 1 goal difference after getting to 38 points, he was sacked by QPR with them in 17th which is where they ended up finishing, he was in the relegation zone with Palace when they sacked him but hardly adrift from safety. As others have said he would deserve the chance, who are we going to appoint in his place, Alan Pardew?
