Forest Away

On a lighter note, Forest away coming up reminded me of a funny incident on the way to the City Ground a few years ago. There was a gang of us walking to the ground and two of the boys were having a right old sing song. All the old favourites, ‘The Bells Are Ringing’, ‘Abe My Boy’, ‘You Can Roll A Silver Dollar’, anyway a police woman pulled them with a ‘No singing football songs in the Street’, the answer was a pearler, ‘They are not football songs, they’re skittles songs!!’ She had no answer to that 😂
