What's happened to Tangerines in supermarkets?

For the last few years I've never seen Tangerines on sale in most of the main superstore like Asda and sainsburys. Always used to have Tangerines for Christmas as a kid but all I see now are bastarding clementines. Nowhere near as tasty as your old Tangerines.

Bob dont know what area the supermarkets you are shopping in but i have found tangeries everywhere ????

Thanks Uncle B, gave me and the missus laugh a real belly laugh :hehe: largely because we agree.

Even here in mid-Iowa it's 'clementines'; too many changes in life for no particular reason.

Me too but you'd rarely see white dog poo this time of year.
Always made do with the tangerines.

Didn't see one Tangerine at all in all the supermarkets. Went looking in Asda, Tesco, Aldi Lidl. It's a mystery that

Seen some in Blackpool

Some superb large satsumas in the market. They taste great.

I went off tangerines when City lost to Blackpool in the play-off final...
