I would rather have Mendez-Laing as a wide right attacker than Patterson. I was disappointed in Patterson on Sunday (although impressed against Barnsley) - he showed power and fight but I thought he lost the ball too easily, didn't dominate with his head and was a bit off the pace. He will be great for us, but as a RB or RWB - and only in that forward position as a stand in.Quote:
