Has the Bamba suspension cost us five points so far?
To be fair we shipped goals with him in the team.
I just feel that against Barnsley and Brentford we would have ended up the winning team or at least drawing against Barnsley.

Tricky one, the whole team needs to be better organised defensively and maybe no difference. Although I would love to see him and Manga playing together.
Re: Has the Bamba suspension cost us five points so far?
Yes we would have more points ,he is more inspirational than most and brings enthusiasm to others when it's tough. Amos was more confident with Sol in front of him .
Should be our captain.

Yes that should do the job. Lets have a skipper who pushes the gaffa around and gets a 4 match ban after only about half a dozen appearances.

3 match ban (automatic 2 matches with 1 extra from the FA hearing on 22 December).

And yes, let's have a captain who has been inspirational, a leader, a regular Man Of The Match since he joined, a solid defender, who has only had one red card since God were a lad, has apologised, plays with passion and organises his team-mates. He's also articulate and experienced, and seems a great club ambassador (the pushing and shoving incident aside).
He may have created a bit of mayhem at Portman Road but that's out of his system now. Make him captain.

Er we had all that with a capt just like that who unlike bamba actually stood the test of time with us and lead us the the promised land but was never given the opportunity to prove his worth in the prem instead we let him go for nothing which started our demise imo. Just for the record we also let his centre back partner go for nothing too. So dont quote captains to me and mention bamba in the same breath. Huds is still doing it with a new unfashionable club and appears to be taking them towards possible promised land? Ask leeds fans about bamba? Look whats happened to them since monk threw him out. He is a what he is a bit of a journey man with no roots who flatters to deceive for a few months then turn bad. We are what we are a basket club....... Yes sounds about right ..... Lets make him capt?

He has been with the club for a short period during that period he has shown skill , commitment, energy , offered advise to the less engaged, has the managers ear, has basically shown more than all of the team put together, its like he has played for us for years when you see his effort .
Yeh make him captain, just for the passion, drop Morrison play Manga or Connolly .
Have a look at the great captains of the past Terry , Keene ,Rooney , Robson , Souness , Bremner , all had marching orders because they cared.
Re: Has the Bamba suspension cost us five points so far?
At a minimum Bamba should have been hit with a huge club fine as punishment for his antics at Ipswich. His conduct was an inch away from being mutinous.

Argh the whiff of goodwill to all men .
Dai has done a great job since being in post, Leeson was financially bright ,just got caught , Sam brought fame to our club .and you all sang while he walked around the pitch whsilt banging yer head , in retrospect, do you not think the comparison with Father Joe Jordan is a tad extreme ?
