Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
Mate are we getting Mark Hughes as our manager?
LET'S ****ING GO LADS :ayatollah:

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
Mark Hughes would be less depressing than Neil Harris but still some way off being an exciting appointment unless of course someone like Bellamy came as his no 2. That could work.

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
harris back on top and hughes 2nd...
skybet know exactly what they are doing lol...

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
Didn't Sky get a bollocking once for creating fake hype on Sky Sports News to steer bets placed on Sky Bet?
I don't trust 'em as far as I can throw 'em.

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
Odds changing reflects bets being received. I don't think it will be either of them.

Would be the first time he has managed outside the premier league in his 16 year club career?

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
Lets be honest! none of you would be happy with anybody

If any of the CCMB ‘experts’ was manager, out of force of habit they would accuse themselves of being useless and call for their own heads.

Out of force of habit you'd defend them to the hilt no matter how shit they were.

Sparky’s No 2 is now Manager of Reading so Bellamy would be a good shout! He deserves the job for relegating after 7 years in the Premier League the Jacks when Manager of Southampton? Two Welshman in charge of the Capital of Wales Club, I don’t believe it!

Hughes would not stoop to managing in the Championship unless he was offered a significant figure in wages and, more importantly, player budget.
I cannot see VT investing much TBH and Harris does seem like the ideal manager for him as far as playing style (hard to beat) with this bunch of players the football style, unfortunately for us, could be pretty seamless.
I am of course hoping I'm completely wrong here and would take Hughes over most of the "favourites" listed.

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
This is like being made to wait until after lunchtime to open your Christmas presents, opening your big present, only to find Neil Harris sitting in the box.
Waaaaaaaaahhhh, this isn’t a gameboy!!!
-
Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
Betting suspended again on Harris

I'm not sure about that, I can't see any premier League clubs going in for him any time soon

Spoke to him have you?
Rather be out of work than drop down and have a job? Don’t be so stupid.

Re: FFS Mark Hughes now favourite on Sky Bet
No one is going to give Mark Hughes a premier league job, his last 3 have been utter disasters. QPR signed a load of shite and got the boot just before relegation, Stoke had a good season then got the boot just before relegation, couldn't buy a win at Southampton and got the boot before he could take them down.
I would find him a better appointment than Harris, but "stooping" to the championship is something he will have to do if he wants a job.

As i said I hope I am wrong and that he does stoop to champ level.
He would almost certainly have an ally in Ole regarding players. Rather have MU's cast offs than Bristol City's.

Not spoken to him no, just an opinion.
Many people would rather be out of work for all sorts if reasons.
