So Whitts is the most effective in terms of shots taken but just isn't taking many shots. Needs to be further forward then...

It implies that Whitts isn't particularly regarded as a goal threat, behind Morrison and Ralls. Take away penalties and that's about right at the moment.

From the chart it suggests that whitts has not been much of a threat in front of goal.
It would e good I see a combined xG and xA vs actual goals and assists as not everyone who makes a contribution to attacking actually scores

Thinking about comments made by Slade and Warnock, suggesting that Whitts isn't able to play every game anymore, maybe it's a case that he hasn't the legs to keep getting up and down?
