Friday Night Tunes - theme "Solos"
Trombone.
To save Sludge the ignominy and getting his arse kicked for all the music threads he started this week, thought I'd get in early.
I enjoyed many of the said threads, particularly the riffs and lady guitarists and thought it a decent shout to head one under "solos".
It might even be something that influenced you to take up and instrument or maybe join a band or just a piece that reminds you of something.
This one is not necessarily my favourite instrument or even tune but one can marvel at the technique and sheer power.... the trombonist. The notes he hits makes it sound like a trumpet!
After the virtual wipeout of New Orleans by the hurricane a few years back, Elvis Costello visited and recorded with some of the victims, themselves top musicians, to raise money. This one with Allen Toussaint.

Well I did offer a reason, however it depends where Bluebirds reading are in the world and what time one orders their first.
Don't tell me you haven't cracked one open yet?
Good effort though sir
:edit: sounds like Sludge has already cracked one open and having a party round his! :hehe:

Agree.
Didn't think they would back in the day but a band that's stood the test of time well and still touring.
