It wasn't specifically a political issue until the mods moved the post into this forum from the main forum, after which the progressive PC brigade on here wouldn't come anywhere near this topic. The Achilles heel of the progressive movement which promotes equality and women's rights, is the fact that they willingly let monsters like Weinstein into their inner circles.

Who has proclaimed his innocence?

From what I can see he is (was) a rich, powerful scumbag and predator who intimidated his victims into silence for years. He deserves his gaol time and all the condemnation that he has had. Those people who used to cosy up to him or acted like sycophants at awards ceremonies or when soliciting donations should be shamed by that - especially if they knew what he was doing.

Clearly this is especially embarrassing for the Democrats as he spent most of his career as a prominent supporter and funder.

I think he's a serial rapist... Did you miss that part? He got away with it for far too long.

For someone who apparently cares so much about the subject, it seems bizarre that you would use it to try to "bait" others. You have posted about a dozen times about Weinstein, yet all of your other posts on the matter have been hints, innuendos and conspiracies... I don't remember you actually condemning Weinstein until your last post.
