In the past coverage of Welsh football from the BBC has been rubbish. They preferred to spend the money on the rugger. We’ve had the likes of Ian Gwyn Hughes commentating and Oliver Hides and Barry Horne talking crap in a badly lit studio in Llandaff. I thought the presentation of the game last night was much better than in the past.

The pundits were garbage though. Collins looked he couldn’t bother to be there, the woman talked about her new born baby and “missed” the only positive welsh action in the first half, and the only half decent speaker who showed some kind of enthusiasm had a cockney accent.Quote:

I think Blakeys knowledge of the game is pretty good. It’s his very laid back delivery that lets him down. He sounds like he’s chatting football in the pub. That’s fine for a podcast but comes across as a bit amatuerish on tv and radio.Quote:
