Be amazed if agents are being paid given the circumstances... Maybe that's Tan's next port of call, taking Willie to court.

That will be good news if true.
I dont think we move forward until they are paid.

Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?
Rumours that we have agreed payment with Nantes. May be instalments.
-
Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?
Well if this turns out to be true I’ll be very surprised. Any indication if we’re paying up in full or just the first instalment?

Do you mean £5m in installments, cos we owe them £15m?

Hoping we've agreed something bigger like one payment that appeases both parties... You never know.

Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?
Hopefully news of the meeting to come out soon.

If this is true, then this is really good news. It means the club is aware of the position we find ourself in, and that they acknowledge something needs to be done during this transfer window. It may also suggest a change in management - after all, the first thing a new man would do is look to bring in reinforcements, and no-one was going to take over the reins with an embargo hanging over them. So perhaps this could be the start of some big changes. Let's hope so.
Even if it doesn't mean all that, it has to be a sign that the club is preparing to put this sorry saga behind them. And about time too.

I don't think it points to a new manager, it just is the situation we are in. We can't bring back McGuinness if it is a FIFA embargo, as he isn't registered to us. Weirdly we could keep Kipre and Philogene. I'm sure Chelsea did that with Kovacic. Either way, it is light at the end of the tunnel, whatever happens, we know where we stand. We couldn't have 4 years without signing anyone. We might be able to send Nkounkou back and get a proper left back, or a winger to replace O'Dowda. Today has been a good day.

Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?
Are we waiting for a club statement? In which case could be good news.
Rumour about deal with Nantes came from a good source.

The Tweet quotes the Chair of the Disabled Supporters Association as saying this is happening but that person is Keiran Jones who was at the meeting and so would know that nothing of the sort was said or even suggested

Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?

What did the club say instead? That they’re carrying on as currently?

No probably someone else.
It sounded too good to be true, as if all of a sudden they woke up and realised we may actually need to sign someone.

Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?
ITK battles over players etc is funny and sometimes entertaining.
This one really isnt.

Re: What was said at the supporters meeting?

True, but I also think he feels he’s been wronged ( again) so is going to make whoever he has to pay work/ wait for their money.
