Just had an email from the club, saying they are looking to set up their own fan zone. Anyone with any more info on it? I recently did a tour of the Etihad and apparently theirs is very popular before the game. Mind you, their food and drink prices are far better than ours!

That pub by the ground, can’t think of its name, is a disgrace. Should have been called The Bluebird, filled with memorabilia and absolutely jumping on match days.

If you chuck a band in, bit of merch, plenty of people serving decent beer and food then can't see why it wouldn't generate money for the club.

This has been one the suggestions that the Trust has been having with the club for some time. The idea is to have a fans area in the car park near the memorial gates so both sets of fans can mix and mingle in a friendly atmosphere before games over a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. The plan is to also have a small area for the kids to play football on. Originally we hoped it would be up and running for the Easter fixtures but if it can be trialled successfully for a few games at the end of the season it can become a permanent match day facility for nextQuote:
