Great idea, I'm really bored of watching real players on Sky TV :biggrin:
The players already wear sensors as part of the Opta malarkey, so it should be easily doable.

It'd be for those without Sky or a way of getting to the game. The tracker option seems a lot of effort for a very basic effect but enough people must have thought it was worth a go. Perhaps it's just a gimmick.

The tracker is used to measure a players performance. It's big business. I think they stick one in the ball too, but don't quote me on that.

On a similar note who's seen that advert for 5g which has people watching the game "as if there" through VR goggles. That's the future right there, guaranteed

The BBC offered that at the last world cup.
It was interesting but after 5 minutes I inevitably went back to just watching on the screen

Yes all the data is available, it would just take someone processing it and showing it live

BT did it for the champs league final also. It's a good gimmick at the moment, for me the goggles start to irritate me after a while. Perfectly suited for VR porn at the moment as it doesn't last as long.
I guess moving forward, as the more expensive equipment becomes more mainstream then this will be the future.
